Resource Abuse
Shared Virtual servers share server resources. Everyone needs to play nice and use only their fair share. This includes disk space, bandwidth, CPU usage and memory. We allow CGI scripts on our shared servers, however, CGI scripts can be resource intensive.
Any process that continually runs is not suitable for a shared hosting environment, including background running processes.
